Project: Climate Resilience in the Amazon Basin
Client Context: USAID/Peru
Summary:
As the Climate Adaptation Team Lead in Peru, I oversaw the design and implementation of nature-based adaptation projects in the Andean-Amazon region. I worked with local communities, regional governments, and environmental NGOs to co-create strategies that improved ecosystem resilience while addressing the needs of vulnerable populations. Our efforts strengthened water security, supported climate-smart agriculture, and helped position Peru as a regional leader in climate adaptation finance.
